Hi Ken, Mike, Julie and Peter,
We are very excited for you. You are well trained and mentally ready. (Well Ken’s mental state is always a bit questionable- but mostly after the race… (smile)). We will be waiting for you at the finish line and watching your progress each day. Hopefully, we will secretly follow the media van again this year and find you on the course (despite the Race Director’s wishes). Very exciting!!!!
Lots of love!

WOW!!!!!!! I just saw the pictures of you all on the river. It was relly roaring!! I also saw the video, of some one who went out of the their kayak and could not catch up. The person who was taking the video started yelling to some one, about getting help right away!!!!!!!!!!!
We got a call that you were alright. You guys are doing a great job. Get some rest and drink, drink and eat well.
Julie, we are watching your progress, and we know you all are great in AR racing.

We having been tracking you nearly every hour (sometimes 20 times per hour) since the race start. You have been in the top eight most of the event! WOW! I bet you are sooooo excited (and happily tired)! Nice work! I ate some ice cream tonight in your honor (smile). You have been blessed with very good health, a supportive family (if I say so myself), good sponsors, and employers who support your dreams. Life is good. See you at the finish.
